TERMS & CONDITIONS
Grr Building Construction Group ( GBCG )To Customers, Owners, Tenants, Neighbours, Builders, Contractors, Project Managers, etc.
1- Once accepted, the quote is a fixed agreed price for work to becarried out, and will not be negotiable at the completion of works.2- The balance of the Quotation/Contract price is strictly to be paidon the day of the work is completed. Payments can be by cheque/cash orBank Transfer.3- Paint Colour/Flexi Colour or any other materials/products: will notbe exactly as they appear online or the colour chart due to monitorresolution/colour chart paper etc.4- GBCG reserves the right to return monies received for works doneinstead of resolving the issue, if the resolution works are deemed un-viable by GBCG director.5- GBCG reserves the right to withdraw from the contract prior tocommencement of works. Any deposit monies received by GBCG from theclient shall be refunded forthwith, labor and materials may bededucted.6- GBCG will not be held responsible for any delays caused by weatheror other conditions.7- Payment Terms: (Unless Otherwise agreed upon in writing by allparties), full payment is due and payable at the completion of works. A15% deposit is payable upon acceptance of the quotation and further 45%payment is due and payable upon delivery of materials or 50% of thework is completed ( GBCG reserves the right to stop untill the balanceof (45%) paid and/or take the material away ) and the balance is dueand payable at the completion of works. GBCG reserves the right tocharge interest calculated daily at 10% pa on overdue payments. GBCGreserves the right to charge late payment fee on overdue payments after30 days failing to pay in full( the customer may get a final reminderafter 14 days of job completion and then late fee may apply at 10% ofthe total amount after 30 days of job completion date, late feecontinually apples every 30 days untill full amount paid. ( legalaction may be taken after 6 month of failing to pay in full and itscustomer's responsibilities to pay for legal fees.)The price quoted and agreed on will be paid in full on completion ofwork without deductions unless agreed upon in writing. You cannot holdpayment or payment for complaints or issue as the late fee and interestwill apply. *All Grr Building Construction Group quotations are exclusive of GST,unless otherwise stated on the written quotations.8- All power and water charges incurred in relation to the work will beborne by the customer.9- Cancellation of work by Customer will result in the forfeit of anydeposit money paid subject to the expiry of any cooling off period (if applicable), including materials/supplies ordered and work up to date.10- GBCG reserves the right to refuse to carry out work contracted forany reason whatsoever.11- No responsibility can be taken, under any circumstances, for damageto any vehicles parked on, or adjoining the premises. The Customeracknowledges any such vehicles are to be removed by themselves prior toany work being commenced. Neighbours must be notified of any work beingcarried out by the customers.12- No responsibility can be taken, under any circumstances, for damagecaused to Patios, Gazebos, Shade Cloths Roofs etc during therestoration process where the structure is found to be unsound orskillion roof without adequate fall. If Shade Cloth needs to be movedto complete work, this is the owner’s responsibility and risk.13- No responsibility can be taken under any circumstances if rustreturns. Treating rusty screws or sheets is a rust treatment. This isprevention not a cure.14- After the cleaning process the true condition of the tile,colorbond, tin etc is revealed. Due to age, deterioration and sundamage some roof surfaces are compromised/weathered resulting in avariation in texture which can determine the look of the finishedpainted roof. Some roofs display irregularity in the finished paintedlook by way of a duller flat or uneven/patchy satin finish. Differentlight can affect the finished look ie sun, GBCG take noresponsibilities.15- Prior painted roofs. After the cleaning process the true conditionof the tile, colorbond, tin etc is revealed. Some paint might beremoved during the cleaning process and some paint may remain on theroof. This determines the look of the finished painted roof. Some roofsdisplay irregularity in the finished painted look by way of a dullerflat or uneven/patchy satin finish due to the prior painted surface,GBCG take no responsibilities.16- Due to age and deterioration any damage to the roof/surface/otherfixtures during cleaning is not the responsibility of GBCG.17- GBCG guarantees the paint paint materials for a period of 12 years,the roof/ roofs must be maintained regularly by GBCG unless otherwiseit may effect the warranty. Flexible pointing will not peel or crackover the 2 years period ( Hairline cracks will appear).* no leakwarranty on a leak repair job due to the inherent nature of roof leaksand gutter falls we cannot guarantee that you will not experience leaksor gutter pooling in the future. As your roof/ roofs and/or gutter maybe old, and/or movement occurred over time, or have several otherissues that are not readily apparent at the time of our quote, duringor after our works are completed, we cannot guarantee this.18- GBCG provide a 3 months warranty on completion of leakage repairsif a warranty statement is provided to the customer/s. After which aCall out Fee of $170.00 (inc. GST) will apply in addition with anycosts associated with the purchase and/or supply of materials necessaryto. In the event that GBCG is called out to resolve a Guarantee issuethat turns out to be due to a cause unrelated to our work, or damagehas been caused by people other than GBCG employers, a call-out chargeof $170.00 (inc. GST) will apply.All New Work* is Guaranteed for 7 Year- If our work should fail, weguarantee to investigate and resolve the issue as quickly as possiblewithout charge. In the event that GBCG is called out to resolve aGuarantee issue that turns out to be due to a cause unrelated to ourwork, or damage has been caused by people other than GBCG Employers ,a call-out charge of $170 (inc. GST) will be due. *New Work is definedas: An entire roof is installed or replaced.19- rectify the cause of reported leak/s. Where it has been determined
that the cause of a leak is from pre-existing cause/s and non-relatedto the restoration/repairs process, all costs, will be borne by theCustomer.20- No responsibility can be taken, under any circumstances, for damageto guttering during the restoration /cleaning process, where guttershave been found to be rusty or weathered from age.21- Any warranty does not apply to any product which has been subjectto misuse, neglect, accident or alteration by the Customer or any otherperson or thing whether authorised or unauthorised.22- This is the owner's responsibilities to cover/remove the pool orother things before commencing any work, GBCG take no responsibilitiesof pools or other things getting dirty or etc during any work.23- this is the customer's responsibilities to let the neighbours knowto cover or move any valuable items before commencing any work, GBCGtake no responsibilities of any damages.24- GBCG Warranty does not warrant against mould growth. Mould sporesare impossible to contain or eliminate due to their minute size.Regular maintenance by qualified trades persons post restoration shouldinclude the roof being cleaned with tap water high pressure wash every12months by GBCG to remove bird droppings, reduce lichen and dirt onthe roof surfaces and noses of the roof, as an ongoing maintenance andprevention method for mould growth or build-up of oxidisation.25- Any warranty is subject to the quote and the manufacturer’sguidelines and conditions.26- Due to circumstances out of GBCG, if roof has no sarking, ordamaged sarking, or battens expanded/ shrinkage water penetration mayoccur during the cleaning process or acts of God and GBCG can take noresponsibility.27- GBCG will not be liable for failure of previous coatings includingrust prevention coatings and 3rd party flexi point.28- If the roof or any painting work needs additional coat/s, thecustomer will be charged.29- the customer agrees that they or any other unauthorised person willnot climb on to the roof or be in the work area while work is underprogress or use GBCG ladder or equipment while work is in progress.GBCG will not be liable for you or any other person to walk on the roofthat may cause any damage as this voids any warranty.30- If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be invalid,void, illegal or unenforceable the validity, existence, legality andenforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected,prejudiced or impaired.31- If you choose to cancel or modify your quote we require minimum 2weeks notice via email. There is no cancellation fee at this point,After 2 week, you will be billed for all costs incurred until thispoint, including: ordering of materials hiring of and supping ofequipment labour costs32- costumers, owners neighbours, tenants etc to remove cars,motorbikes, etc from the access point to your property to allow accessfor the tradesmen to carry out work to your property. This will alsosafe guard your property from damaged from pressure cleaning and spraymachines. GBCG is not responsible for damages to property if property/shave not been removed or covered and this is customer'sresponsibilities to let the neighbours know before commencing any work.If our staffs are unable to carry out work due to being unable accessthe work site due to lock out or cars blocking driveway etc, you mayoccur a labor charge due to delay.33- GBCG is not responsible During the washing stage, there will be alot of dirt mould or etc that comes down from the roof, so pleaseensure cars/clothes/swimming pool anything valuable is either covered
or moved away from the roof to avoid getting dirty. The owner/landlord/agent or etc is responsible and also responsible to letting theneighbours close to your house know of this.34- If you have a water tank – this will need to be closed off duringthe washing stage to avoid getting dirt in it and thats costumer’sresponsibilities.35- If you have existing leaks, please ensure this is shown to theroofers on site before we start. Occasionally some water can comeinside through * air vents/skylights areas/flutes etc during thewashing stage – GBCG will take all pre-caution to ensure water doesn’tget in however we cannot take any responsibility for any water thatgets inside/causes any stains or damages – as it’s outside our controland a risk the home owner/customer has to take to perform this job.36- If gutters are already full of dirt, this could cause blockages –we will wash as much as we can, however we don’t use vacuums so cannotexpect this to be thoroughly cleaned. *unless this is part of the quoteto use vacuums*37- If gutters/fascia/anything close to the roof is freshly painted –the dirt from the washing stage could stain this a little bit. We willwash this off as much as we can – but it would be unrealistic to makeit look brand new.38- Solar panels/pool panel sheets on roof – we wash/paint around this.If the panels are too close to the edge of the roof and there is nosafe access to walk at the bottom row to wash/paint the bottom row – wewill not be able to do this especially in the double storey section.39- If the quote includes weep-holes – if they already have weep-holeson the top ridge, we may be able to apply weep holes as well. If theydon’t, we will not be able to put a weep holes unless we are re-beddingthe whole section and re-bedding will be extra charge. If thequote includes full repointing - we will repoint all ridge, We mayrepoint the collars of the ridge for added strength.40- Our aim is to ensure all the pointing work is as smooth as possibleand to make it look nice however this is based on the existing beddingcondition of your roof – if they are sticking out a bit then this willalso effect the way the pointing will look.41- If the customer change their mind after washing and repairing theroof not to proceed with the painting work, They will be charged 40%of the total cost for washing/cleaning the roof and 20% of the totalcost for repairing, and also the customer will be charged for thematerials/products that is already purchased.42- Clients make the final decisions on materials and products and GBCGtake no responsibilities for any change of mind. 1- If the customer/s do not like, change their mind or cancel aftermaterials purchased, it's customer's responsibilities and labor chargesmay apply. 2- If customer/s do not like the colour when painting is inprogress, It's not GBCG's responsibilities (charges apply if stopped).3- If customer/s do not like the colour when the work/s done, It's notGBCG's responsibilities, additional charges will apply to re-paint oretc.43- Any changes to our TERMS & CONDITIONS or PRIVACY POLICY, It will beon this website only.44- Change of Use : GRR Building Construction Group reserves the rightto: 4.1 change or remove (temporarily or permanently) the Website or anypart of it without notice and you confirm that GRR BuildingConstruction Group shall not be liable to you for any such change orremoval and. 4.2 change these Terms and Conditions / Privacy Policy at any timeshall not be liable to you for any such change or removal.
